About Me

Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Ruaraidh Peck, a 28 year old RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant from London.

I am currently working in Clerkenwell, London as a Part II on a variety of projects, most recently retail projects. During my time working I have had experience working on various Residential, including office to residential conversions, and Retail projects. These retail projects have given me the opportunity to act as Account Manager and sole point of contact for a major international company on several projects across Europe. This included successfully delivering a project in Paris worth over €1m which involved obtaining French building permits. I am always interested in trying other sectors and have a particular interest in trying infrastructure projects after my work during my final year of studies.

I enjoy presenting and speaking in public which led me to becoming president of the Article 25 Student Chapter, whilst studying my undergraduate degree. During this time we were nominated twice for the Volunteer Society of the Year Award, winning once, and increased funds raised by 50%. I am a sociable person who enjoys working in a team and building strong working relationships with my colleagues. I have an open mind and am always willing to learn from those around me.

While working I have principally used AutoCAD and SketchUp, however from my time at university I have experience using various other software programs including; Revit, Adobe Suite, (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator), Lumion & Rhino.
